The Uninvited Have Unfortunately Arrived

It was dark, and beneath the starry sky was the Mutant stronghold, Moenia Motus, overlooking all of Terra Hereditas atop a mighty mountain. Terra Hereditas a Nation ruled by Mutants, and a sanctuary to those who have a chance to realize their purpose. Instead of being in the King's court, Overlord decided to take a quiet walk along the sea shore, while most of his fellow Mutants were resting. He stood tall at the edge of Terra Hereditas's eastern shore though the details on his body and face were shrouded by a black silhouette caused by the luminiscent full moon far above. The steady current pushed water against the shores of Terra Hereditas, and the splashing of water was perhaps the most acknowledgable sound coming from the ocean surrounding Overlord's island-nation.

There were three armored men slowly creeping along the banks of Terra Hereditas. They were armed, and appeared well-trained. Their dark, navy blue outfits and plain grey vests blended in well with the air, and reflection around them. None of their weapons had their flashlights active, and the men were clearly adept in using man's various technological achievements encouraged by an advantage in wartime. These armored soldiers knew very well that the Mutants of Terra Hereditas would be nesting silently in their luxurious homes, some shared even within the Castle grounds. They all gazed up above to see the central keep of Overlord's castle overlooking them, and striking fear even in their trained eyes. So, they continued walking, their tracks were imprinted on the moist sand, but, washed away by the seemingly gentle tide.

Immediately they looked up, feeling a presence hovering over so closely over them. They hadn't expected this? Of all the Mutants on this island, their sovereign and mightiest Mutant on the island was the one to appear before them? "Hello gentlemen, welcome to Terra Hereditas." Overlord greeted himself with a smirk on his face. They attempted to fall back, and draw their weapons in the process - what they definitely didn't want, was to be sabotaged. This was a secret mission, issued by the Secretary of Defense himself. With one swipe of Overlord's right arm, all of the operatives' vision was dazzled, and they were seeing things in constant motion despite being from one frame of reference, and not moving much at all. When they finally began firing, their accuracy was totally off, and their special military training proved to be all for not.

Overlord stole their momentum, and instead he began leading them to his Castle, the famed Mutant stronghold, Moenia Motus, where they would perhaps never be heard of again by the world, or their commissioner, the Secretary of Defense - at least the Secretary of Defense. When their dazzling ended, their conscious would open them up to the dungeons of Moenia Motus and they would be interrogated... Harshly.
